Annabel's Irisis

Annabel looked through the flower shop, infatuated with the amount of beauty and elegance just one flower could hold, specifically an Iris. She looked at that specific Iris for a long while until she picked it up and cradled it in her hands. She kept staring at it.

Raidon walked into the flower shop, annoyed by the mix of the various scents. He had just ditched his assistant, Kaiteki, at his office. Maybe if I get her some flowers she won't get as angry he thought. He looked around and saw Annabel holding a flower. He approached her and said in a bored voice, "Hey Annabel! What're you doing here?"

" Oh, hi Raidon-sama, I'm just looking.." Annabel smiled at the Kage. " What're you doing? And where is Kaiteki?" She looked behind him to see if Kaiteki was just behind him. Nope.

"Well," he started. "she's, um, busy." He looked out of the shop's window, checking to see if she was there. He then turned back to Annabel and said, "Just don't tell her where I am if you see her, okay?" He tried not to sound suspicious, but failed.

Annabel's happy demeanor turned into a deadpan stare. " What did you do?" She questioned him with an accusing voice. She put the iris back and positioned her hands on her hips.

"Well, I-" Raidon started when an explosion rang out that shook the shop. What the hell?! he thought. He ran out the door and looked in the direction from where he heard the sound. The Village Entrance. Shit! he thought as he ran towards the Village entrance. What's going on?
